Libya Adventure (15 Days)

Day-By-Day Itinerary: This itinerary can be fully customised; to tailor this package to your specific requirements:

Day1: Arrive Tripoli

Arrive at Tripoli International Airport, transfer to your hotel, and short visit to Marcus Aurelus Arch. Enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant this evening.

Day2: Tripoli – Leptis Magna – Tripoli

This morning your tour guide will escort you to Lepits Magna (located in Al Khums City) which is 130Km drive to east of Tripoli. Your visit includes the Arch of Septimius Severus, the entrance of the Hadrianic Baths and Basilica. After lunch in local restaurant visit the Amphitheatre, This one of the largest Roman theatres in the world and has been renovated and re-assembled to its original glory. Return to the hotel and prepare for your dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Tripoli – Sabratha – Tripoli

You’ll travel west of Tripoli to the Roman ruins of Sabratha, other monument and area of interest include the museum, Temple of Hercules Victor or Hercules Olivarius, serapes and Liber Pater. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant and drive back to Tripoli, where you will have your dinner and your overnight hotel.

Day4: Tripoli – Ghadames

Drive to Ghadames with two stops in Kabaw and Nalut, overnight at hotel in Ghdames.

Day5: Ghadames

Touring in Ghdames, The oasis town of Ghdames locates along with the Algeria and Tunisian borders. Visit the Famous desert architecture; Ghadames earned a sobriquet 'Pearl of the Desert'.
We will visit Labyrinths of the old city, its small enough to be entirely covered on foot, which is just what you should do when you arrive (bring a torch), and then we will visit Dan Magrumah House which is an old merchant's house with its original furnishings and decorations kept intact.

Day6: Ghadames – Tripoli

Return to Tripoli via Kabaw & Gharyan, overnight at hotel in Tripoli.

Day7: Tripoli – Sebha

Sightseeing tour of Tripoli capital city Museum of Tripoli and Red Castle (Assai al-Hamra) which is one of Essential attraction for sightseeing tour to Tripoli; the museum shows monuments of civilizations that inhabited Libya by Germants, Roman, Greek, and Islamic. Enjoy your early dinner at a local restaurant before transferring to Tripoli Domestic Airport for your short flight to Sebha. Overnight at hotel in Sebha.

Day8 - 9 - 10: Sebha – Murzuk sand sea – Wadi Matkhandoush – Acacus Al-Wainat

Leaving Sebha early morning, visit Acacus with its spectacular scenery and ancient rock art wild, and visit ancient temple site of Wadi Matkhandoush, festooned with petroglyphs. Continue to the Acacus with its spectacular scenery and ancient rock art wild. Camping with last night at campsite.

Day11 -12: Ghat

Explore the spectacular city of the Ghat which is almost as far away as you can get in Libya, and it is very close to the centre of Sahara. Visiting the old city of Ghat, the Tuareg called it (Land of peace); in the old Libyan language it was called (Land of sun) then heading back to Sebha Oasis.

Day13: Sebha

Touring in the Sahara oasis of Mandra, Um- Al Maa & Gaberoun, the largest oasis and the major city of fessan region, situated in middle of the dessert. Visitors enjoy a quite and peaceful atmosphere between golden sand dunes, green palm overnight at camp.

Day14: Sebha – Tripoli

After early breakfast, fly to Tripoli, leaving desert behind, sightseeing tour around Tripoli and dinner. Overnight in hotel.

Day 15: Tripoli – Departure

In the Morning touring in the Tripoli’s old city and market areas, transfer to the airport for a safe flight back home.
