Day-By-Day Itinerary: This itinerary can be fully customised; to tailor this package to your specific requirements:
Day1: Arrive Tripoli
Arrive at Tripoli International Airport and transfer to your hotel, and short visit to Marcus Aurelus Arch, Modern Medina including the Handicraft Market. Enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant this evening.
Day2: Tripoli
Visit the Tripoli’s Museum; the museum shows monuments of civilisations that inhabited Libya by Germants, Roman, Greek, and Phoenician & Islamic. Our Local guide will accompany you & to Enjoy listening to the interesting & a brief explanation about the ancient civilization. Our Second point of the city sightseeing tour is visiting the Karamanli House.
Day3: Tripoli – Benghazi
Flight to Benghazi, touring in the city souq, the old town, Souk al-Jareed, ancient Berenice and the World War II Commonwealth Cemetery. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day4: Teuchira (Tocra) and Ptolemais (Tolmeita)
Visit the Greco-Roman cities of Teuchira (Tocra) and Ptolemais (Tolmeita). Continue to the Cyrene/Apollonia area. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day5: Cyrene
Full day of sightseeing at the extensive and remarkable Greek site of Cyrene, founded in the 7th century BC. Sites include the Temple of Apollo, Acropolis, Agora, Forum, Stoa of Hermes and Hercules, House of Jason Magnus and the Temple of Zeus. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day6: Apollonia
Visit the ancient city-port of Apollonia. Also visit the Byzantine churches at Ras al-Hilal and Al-Atrun. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Benghazi – Tripoli
Drive back to Benghazi via eerie funerary temple at Slunta Site, flight to Tripoli, overnight at hotel.
Day 8: Tripoli – Departure
At leisure until we transfer to the airport for a safe flight back home.
